Exhibition "Voices from the Andes "
This exhibition is an invitation to share encounters with people of the Andes mountains. Living witnesses of the traditional oral culture, they tell us their stories, individual or collective, real or imaginary. Using photographic portraits and recordings of their voices and stories, we find ourselves immersed in conversation with them > Gallery

More precisely, this exhibition invites us to discover and understand the life and culture of the Andean population, by creating a link with people we would rarely have the opportunity to meet. These people living at an altitude high above and far from western civilization have an opportunity to look us in the eye and speak to us. We have a chance to learn from their special vision of the world and nature.

First exhibition set right inside a community, the village Tambobamba, in the Apurimac region, arround 12h bus ride in dirt road from Cusco. The idea here is to strenght at the source the relation between the storytellers and their local audience, the youth of the local surrounding communities. A way to dynamise the transmission of knowledge and cultural value to the next generations. More infos here.
